Zach and I sat in the Common Market yesterday and drew for a bit. I was coloring in a previous drawing to make her have pink hair and a man walked up to our table and asked if it was a drawing of him. I told him yes, that it clearly had his pink hair and freckles and then he looked at the drawing a little closer. "What is that in her cheek? A dart?" I told him that it was an arrow piercing her face and he just backed away slowly until he was out the door. It was made all the better by the face that I was wearing my Black Lantern Ring that bestfriendenvy sent me at the time.

I walked all over after work and settled at a fastfood restaurant with a giant iced-tea and sat down on the two-seat table and shoved all of my belongings and backpack under me and looked out the window for awhile. A woman with a very short haircut and in scrubs sat at the table in front of me and sighed loudly clanging her tray on the table. I heard her over the static and songs in my headphones and looked up at her. She said, "It never ends, does it?" and I nodded in agreement. I don't know what she was referring to, but I know what I was agreeing to.

I walked past a man wearing a long leather coat and I said under my breath "Sir, that is a ladies' coat." He said hello in return.

I hate doing a post like this, but I honestly have no idea who half of the people on my friends list are due to the recent influx of adds. i worked a thirteen hour shift in commemoration of friday the 13th. at hour six, i sat on the floor of the lab and pulled out all the old photos that customers had left behind and looked through all of them. in the very back was an envelope that i ripped open containing a black and white portrait of a man with an amazingly immaculate moustache surrounded with a make-shift paper frame. i took off the frame to look at the back and it was dated:
FEBRUARY 13 1970. the lab has internet, so i looked up the date and IT WAS A FRIDAY TOO. i showed all of my co-workers in frenzied excitement but no one was excited as me. no else had eaten as much candy as i had either, so that might have had something to do with it too.

Last night, Josiah and I went to the Penguin to pick up some food and then to Value Village. I was looking at the skirts when I heard a man laugh behind me. I turned around and he had a large tumor on his head, like a little hat, it had no hair on it, and squished his eye down so that it was mostly closed. He was laughing at me, and looked at my shoes and said "you know, not many people can pull that off, but you, you look cute." Later, I realized he was the manager when I saw him arguing with an obese woman in a wheel chair about how much 3.50 plus 1.50 equals. I wanted to wave goodbye to him, but he wasn't looking.
